PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix an image formation element array to a housing with simple and low cost constitution. SOLUTION: In this fixing structure, the boundary parts between mutually adjacent image formation elements 1a are light shielded with nearly L shaped light shielding members 11 and also end parts 11a, 11b of the light shielding members 11 are fixed to the side walls 51a, 51b of a housing 51 by welding or sticking, and whereby an image formation element array 1 is fixed to the housing 51 with the light shielding members 11. The whole light shielding members 11 may be composed of metal or resin.
