PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a manufacturing method of a rotor for a hybrid type stepping motor, capable of eliminating the need for inspection of all products. SOLUTION: First and second rotor stacks 3, 4 are fixed to a shaft 2, so that when n/m becomes an even number, fit-in embossed parts 6A whose (m) pieces appear on the end surface of the first rotor stack 3 with polar teeth, whose quantity is (n) around the outer periphery part may certainly be displaced from fit-in embossed parts 6B whose (m) pieces appear on the end surface of the rotor stack 4 by 1/2 pitch of [(n/2m)±0.5] pitch in the rotating direction of a shaft 2 or the reverse direction thereof.
