PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a high rustproof effect by a method wherein a vaporized rustproof component around an object to be packaged is maintained at a level of a sufficient concentration. SOLUTION: This box for package is composed of a box-like nonbreathable cover 3 whose lower part side is open, and a nonbreathable base 2 on which an object W to be packaged is placed and which seals the lower part side of the cover 3. A flexible and nonbreathable sheet 16 for continuously covering a bottom and side walls of the object W is provided on the base 2. Volatilizable preservative X are stored between the sheet 16 and the object W.
