摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable operation of a gas engine with a gas of low-calorific value to enable changeover operation of the gas engine with a gas of high-calorific value or the gas of low-calorific value and to operate the gas engine correspondingly to the calorific value of a fuel gas. SOLUTION: This gas engine system has a gas engine 1, and plural mixers 2, 3, 4 provided on the upstream side of the gas engine 1. The respective mixers 2, 3, 4 are supplied with air 12 from an air pipe 17, and is supplied with a fuel gas 8 from a fuel gas pipe 16 through branch pipes 15. The air 12 and the fuel gas 8 are mixed in the mixers 2, 3, 4 and is fed to the gas engine 1. When using a gas 9 of high-calorific value as the fuel gas 8, the number of the used mixers 2, 3, 4 is reduced by adjusting opening/closing valves 11a. When using a gas 10 of low-calorific value as the fuel gas 8, the number of the used mixers 2, 3, 4 is increased by adjusting the opening/closing valves 11a.
