SUBSTANCE: proposed packing material has layer of paper base with applied latex coating based on vinylidene chloride or vinyl acetate copolymers with other monomers or without them and also modifier. Sodium salt dehydracetic acid and polyvinylpirrolidone, molecular mass 4,000 - 40,000 can be used as a modifier. Modifier can contain additionally sodium sorbate or sodium propionate or sodium benzoate, their content in mixture with sodium salt of dehydracetic acid being 0.5 - 4.0 %. Modifier proper can be introduced in form of preliminarily prepared complex of polyvinylpirrolidone salt of dehydracetic acid or its mixture with other above-indicated additions. If necessary, foam suppressor or dye can be added to composition to be applied to paper base. Latex coating composition can be applied to paper base by any known method: roller-coat, dipping or spraying with subsequent drying.
