SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of matching non-worked adjacent surface of blade with basic surface of base in the form of geometrical wedge-shape body having flat basic and free surfaces; at adjusting machine tool, placing free surface of base lower than worked surface of blade by value equal to admission value for sharpening; applying upon free surface of base layer of plastic heat conductive lubricant and grinding surface of blade while orienting speed vector of main cutting motion from lubricant towards blade. At process of grinding by means of grinding wheel transportation of lubricant to blade provides increased hydrodynamic pressure of lubricant, its fusion and turbulization onto non-worked surface of blade near cutting edge of sharpened tool and penetration of melt lubricant into blade-base butt. It provides high contact heat conduction of butt and reduced thermal stress in blade at grinding.
