PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analytical method capable of preventing generation of bubbles, because such a fact is ascertained that dispersion of values measured by analysis is caused by the bubbles generated in liquid, when a complex of bivalent ruthenium or the like is changed into a trivalent one by electrolysis, in analysis of the complex of ruthenium or the like by utilizing chemiluminescence. SOLUTION: In this analytical method, electrolytic oxidation of complex solution between ruthenium or osmium and an aromatic nitrogen heterocyclic coordination compound is executed continuously, to thereby increase the oxidation number of ruthenium or osmium, and thereafter the oxidant is brought into contact with a test sample, to thereby generate chemiluminescence. In this case, the electrolytic oxidation is executed in the pressurized state at 1.7-15 kg/cm2 by installing a flow resistance means 8 on an outlet of an electrolytic device.
