PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear damper capable of preventing separation of a rotating body from a bracket. SOLUTION: When a rotating body 3 slightly moves in a separating direction from a bracket 2, oil 16 filled within a recessed part 12 for oil sump 12 is deformed because oil 16 is pulled by a bottom surface 5a of a bearing hole 5 and deformation resistance of oil 16 acts on the rotating body 3 because a tip surface of a support shaft 10 and the bottom surface 5a of the bearing hole 5 are separated. When oil 16 is deformed by being pulled by the bottom surface 5a of the bearing hole 5, a pressure difference is generated between an outer surface of the rotating body 3 and the inside of the bearing hole 5 and the rotating body 3 is drawn to the bracket 2 side by the pressure difference because space of a vacuum state is generated between the bottom surface 5a of the bearing hole 5 and the tip surface of the support shaft 10. As a result, the rotating body 3 can be effectively prevented from being separated from the bracket 2.
