PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform the carrying in and out of construction materials by utilizing the inside of an elevator shaft in a renovation construction of a building. SOLUTION: A gondola 8 in an elevator shaft is escaped to the uppermost position of the shaft, a rope ladder type transfer wire 3 is disposed in a space under the gondola, and a returnable box 4 with casters is installed detachably to the transfer wire 3. The transfer wire 3 is moved by a wire drive device 5 to transfer new materials through the returnable box 4 to any construction floor, where the transfer wire 3 is stopped, and the returnable box 4 is removed and moved to a construction site. The disassembled materials produced at the construction site are loaded on the returnable box 4, installed on the transfer wire 3, and lowered to a specified floor by the transfer wire 3 and stopped. Then, the returnable box 4 is stopped and moved to the outside of a building.
