PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject aqueous solution medicine which can be stored for a long period at the ordinary temperature, has good storage stability and is useful as a laxative, by including sennoside A or B and a specific stabilizer. SOLUTION: This aqueous solution medicine contains (A) at least one of sennoside A and B and (B) at least one compound selected from the group consisting of acidic sulfites, sulfites and pyrosulfites (preferably an acidic sulfite and/or a combination of an acidic sulfite with a pyrosulfite). The content of the component A is preferably 0.02 to 20 w/v% as the total content of the sennosides A and B. The content of the component B in the aqueous solution medicine is preferably 0. 01 to 20 w/v% as the anhydrous product of the salt. The aqueous solution medicine is further preferably adjusted to pH 5.5 to pH 7.5. Thereby, the aqueous solution medicine can be stored for a long period even at the ordinary temperature, and hence used as the easily usable liquid laxative.
