PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance rigidity of a part hook locking a tip end of an open stay by a reinforcing member, and also, lighten weight of this reinforcing member, while lightening weight of the open stay. SOLUTION: This bonnet for a vehicle holds the bonnet 20 in an opened condition by hook locking a hook part 52 in a tip end of an open stay 50 extended from a car body side 14 in the vicinity of a hinge R of the bonnet 20. A reinforcing member 60 reinforcing a hook lock part 34 hook locking a tip end of the open stay 50 is housed in the bonnet 20. The reinforcing member 60 is constituted by an extrusion material having a closed section.
