PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction tool for a vacuum cleaner wherein/even if the suction tool is moved in any direction with respect to a cleaning surface, suction power is not lowered and dust is not scattered into the air so that the cleaning surface can be cleaned. SOLUTION: The suction tool comprises one or a plurality of brush bases 11, each of the bases 11 having an end connected to the suction side of a vacuum cleaner, the forward end of each base 11 having an opening 13 and bristled brushes 14. In this case, the openings 13 alternate with the brush bases 11, while each brush base 11 is oriented at a predetermined angle relative to the longitudinal direction of a guide 15, and the bases 11 are parallelly disposed and spaced at regular intervals.
