PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for insertion-fitting a terminal of a multipolar connector capable of providing an excellent automation rate and production efficiency when a subwire harness is manufactured, suppressing the occurrence of erroneous arrangement of terminals, and improving the quality of a wire harness to be manufactured and the multipolar connector manufactured by this method. SOLUTION: This multipolar connector 1 has many insertion parts 1e in which terminals to be attached to each end part of many electric wires 2 constituting a wire harness are inserted. A terminal mounting method is provided with a process in which a hold means holds terminals attached to end parts of each electric wire 2 of a subwire harness having desired number of electric wires and a process in which a plurality of hold means are combined and desired number of held terminals are inserted into corresponding insertion parts of the multipolar connector from the hold means as one lump.
