PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light reflection type sensor capable of detecting the height of an object, its inclination, and the change in the horizontal position using the object itself as the object to be detected. SOLUTION: A first form is formed by a projection and reception optical system in which a light projection part, a first convex lens, a second convex lens, and a light receiving part are arranged on an optical axis in this order, a second form is formed by a projection and receiving optical system provided equally with the first form, and the first form and the second form are arranged and combined on the same optical axis symmetrically by facing reversely and mutually to form a basic form 1. Furthermore, a projection and receiving optical system provided equally with the basic form 1 constitutes a basic form 2, and the basic form 1 and the basic form 2 are arranged in such a way that they are in the orthogonal direction for each other.
