PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved inflating device for an automobile safety device capable of realizing superior safety with simple means. SOLUTION: This inflating device for an automobile safety device has a container 1 provided with a charge chamber 2 housing a charge 3 generating gas and a discharge chamber 7 having a discharge opening 26 connected to the safety device. A separation wall 6 having an internal opening 19 mutually separates the charge chamber 2 and the discharge chamber 7 in an axial direction, and it is connected to a wall 4 of the container 1 by linking connecting means 15, 16, and 17 so as to prevent fluid from transmitting. The linking connecting means 15, 16, and 17 are formed in the axial direction so as to break when the interior of the charge chamber 2 reaches a predetermined pressure. The separation wall 6 is movably constituted in the axial direction inside the discharge chamber 7.
