摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a radiation monitor, for the measurement of a counting rate, in which an influence on the counting rate is relaxed even when radiation pulses are suddenly incident and which can suppress a drop in the computing accuracy of the counting rate even under a measuring condition under which the counting rate is low. SOLUTION: This radiation monitor, for the measurement of a counting rate, in which a radiation is counted at every prescribed sampling cycle so as to find the counting rate which indicates the number of radiations per unit time is provided with a radiation detection means 1 which detects the radiation. The radiation monitor is provided with a counting-rate computing means 10 which calculates the change rate of the counted value of the radiation on the basis of the counted value of the radiation, at a continuous sampling cycle, detected by the radiation detection means 1 and on the basis of the continuous sampling cycle, which corrects the counted value by using a prescribed value when the calculated change rate is at a prescribed value or higher and which calculates the counting rate by using the corrected counted value.
