PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide system which can greatly increase the amount of information and optionally set and use not only public information, but also individual information, has small restrictions on the installation, and is free from noise to the circumference and applicable to both visually handicapped persons and unhandicapped persons. SOLUTION: This system comprises an information recording medium 1 which is fixed and installed on a path 5 where a person 4 moves and has various information regarding the installation place, recorded in a semiconductor integrated circuit and a reader writer 2 that the person can carry, and the information recording medium has a function of being written with various information supplied from the reader write without contacting and a signal transmitting function 3 of supplying various information in a memory to the reader writer without contacting.
