PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a recorder to perform recording anytime and in an instant. SOLUTION: An HDD 17 records time-series data. A dynamic buffer to be constituted in a RAM 2 consists of one or more buffers and the dynamic buffer stores time-series data to be recorded on the HDD 17 temporarily. A CPU 11 controls the storage capacity of the dynamic buffer by forming or eliminating buffers corresponding to the amount of the time-series data which are to be stored in the dynamic buffer.
