PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for oral cavity widely applicable as it is stable, shows excellent safety or activation effect on periodonitum and exhibits prophylaxis-improvement effect on periodontal disease symptoms, e.g. gingival retraction or elasticity lowering, stomatorrhagia and the like, anti-inflammatory effect or wound healing effect. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by including one or more kinds of plants or their extracts selected from the group consisting of the genera Brosimum, Tabebuia, Trichilia, Bowdickia, Platymiscium, Swietenia, Diplotropis, Euplassa and Euxylophora.
