PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new heterocyclic carboxamide compound useful as medicaments, especially as a Spleen tyrosine kinase inhibitor. SOLUTION: This new compound is represented by formula I [A is a (substituted) lower alkylene, a (substituted) arylene or the like; X is a group of NR4, CONR4 or the like; a dotted line between Y and Z shows presence or absence of a bond; Y-Z is a group of N(R5)-C(O), C(O)-N(R5) or the like; Y=Z is a group of N=C(R6), C(R7) or the like; R1 and R4 are each H, a lower alkyl or the like; R2 is a halogen, a halogen-substituted lower alkyl or the like; R3 is a group of CO2H, CO2-a lower alkyl or the like; R5 is H or a lower alkyl; R6 is a lower alkyl, OH or the like; R7 is H or R6] and is preferably 6-(2-aminoethylamino)-2-(3-ethylanilino)pyridine-3-carboxamide or the like. The compound of formula I is, for example, obtained by reacting a compound of formula II (L is an eliminable groupe) with a compound of the formula: R3-A-X.
