PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-link communication device and its method in an ATM that transmits synchronization information between multi-links without giving effect on a communication band used by a user. SOLUTION: First cell reception circuit 40 to n-th cell reception circuit 42 receive an ATM cell with a synchronization pattern inserted thereto while being deviated among links. First cell synchronization circuit 50 to n-th cell synchronization circuit 52 detect an ATM cell with a synchronization pattern inserted thereto, ATM cells with a synchronization pattern inserted to them are arranged and outputted according to an instruction from a 2nd reception timing generating circuit 71. |
