PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject treating method having a flexibility allowing the treatment to be carried out without causing deformation even if a utility is changed during the treatment by deriving the inner pressure of an air-including container by utilizing a specific formula, and carrying out the pressure control of the retort treatment based on the resultant pressure in steps for temperature-raising, heating and cooling treatments. SOLUTION: The temperature of water in an air-including container is calculated from the temperature in a vessel by utilizing equations for calculating sequential heat transfer, represented by equations I and II γ is an individually air-including coefficient (dimensionless number) of heat transfer per prescribed time interval; tVn is a temperature ( deg.C) of the water in the vessel at this time in the sequential calculation; tVn-1 is the temperature ( deg.C) of the water in the container at the last time; ΔtVn is the temperature change ( deg.C) of the water in the container having contributed the attainment of the present temperature of the water in the container; ΔtWn is the temperature change ( deg.C) in the vessel having attributed the attainment of the present temperature in the vessel; ΔtVn-1 is the temperature change ( deg.C) of the water in the container having contributed the attainment of the last temperature of the water in the container} to derive an inner pressure of the air-including container, and the pressure of a retort treatment is controlled based on the resultant pressure. |
