摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of fuel consumption performance and increase of emission by preventing spark retarding of an injection termination timing even when it is under a driving condition that a fuel injection amount is increased, in a direct injection diesel engine which performs main injection of fuel in a divided manner to plural times near a top dead center of compression of a cylinder. SOLUTION: Main injection is carried out in a divided manner near a top dead center of compression of a cylinder by an injector during operation of an engine. At this time, it is determined that a termination timing of the main injection is at the ATDC 35 deg.CA or after. At the time of determination, the injection termination timing is spark advanced by reducing dividing number or number of intervals of injection by a correction means. In addition, a fuel injection amount of the main injection is decreasingly corrected. Pre-injection of the fuel is made in a rear half stroke of the compression of the cylinder by a sub-injection control means, correspondingly thereto.
