PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a molded pulp product enabling the molding of a vessel having complicate form independent of draft angle, etc., and the addition of various beautiful design having excellent surface smoothness. SOLUTION: A laminated pulp material is formed by depositing pulp fibers on the outer surface of a core-forming mold, the formed pulp laminate is extracted from the core-forming mold, the extracted pulp laminate is attached to a hot-pressing core and inserted into a pair of split molds 3 without removing from the hot-pressing core and the laminate is pressed, dehydrated and thermally dried in the split mold 3. |
