PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce production of a defective item by overlapping a plurality of laminated films formed by laminating a plurality of films together via an adhesive and cutting the circumferential face by means of a rotary blade for finishing with the blade face of the rotary blade faced to the circumferential face of the set of the laminated films. SOLUTION: A plurality of polarizing films formed by laminating a plurality of films together via an adhesive are overlapped to each other, and on both sides of the outermost films of the set 2 of the polarizing film, a pair of rectangular acrylic plates 3 slightly smaller than the polarizing film are overlapped with the respective polarizing films protruded from the side edges of the pairs of acrylic plates 3. Under this condition, the set 2 of the polarizing films is fixed to a table in a numeral control milling machine via a jig 6. While a blade face of the end mill 8 is faced to one circumferential face, the other circumferential face is finished by means of the end mill 8.
