PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter unit capable of being easily manufactured and assembled, and of exhibiting stable cutting performance for a long time. SOLUTION: A stationary blade 16 is fixed to the bottom wall of a base frame 12, and a movable blade 18 is so provided as to be freely slid. An insertion hole 24 through which papers can be inserted, and a guide hole 26 extended out to the direction perpendicularly intersected with the insertion hole, are formed in the bottom wall 12a of the base frame, and a projection part 34 projected to the side of an outer surface, is formed in an area starting from the guide hole to the insertion hole. A guid pin 36 provided for the movable blade is inserted into the guide hole, and a seat metal 40 capable of sliding over the outer surface of the bottom wall, is mounted to the extended end of the guide pin. The movable blade is pressed onto the stationary blade side by sliding the seat metal over the projection part 34 as the movable blade is moved.
