PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial seaweed structure having a simple structure with a small number of structural parts which are easily produced and capable of being assembled with labor saving, thus suppressing a production cost and capable of being transported without in a bulky state. SOLUTION: A base material 1 is a lattice-shaped body made of steel wires and is applied with a corrosion resistant coating. An artificial seaweed material 2 is constituted by forming ribbons 23 by making a large number of parallel slits with leaving the central part in the longitudinal direction to a rectangular sheet, preferably a plastic sheet, colored in a sea weed color. A fixing material 3 is made of a material having rigidity together with slight elasticity and has a shape in which a cylindrical part 31 opens in one line along the axis and two tabular parts 32 are radially extended from the cylindrical part. It is preferable to add a tightening material 5 for tightening the tabular parts.
