PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow body supporting arm or a hollow door body shell for a swing hinge in an automotive door. SOLUTION: A door and a pillar-side joint pin are arranged at the free end of a hollow body supporting arm 1 and the supporting arm has two pairs of single reverse-acting joints 4. The region of a hinge pin located between the single reverse-acting joints, arranged on the upper and lower sides, is kept open. The supporting arm 1, in addition to a base supporting arm 2, is divided in such a manner that at least one end region where the single reverse-acting joints 4 are arranged is formed as separate supporting arm parts 3. The end side face, where the base supporting arm 2 and the supporting arm parts 3 face each other, is formed such a manner that they are connectable to fix and trap each other and the supporting arm is formed to be highly rigid when they are connected. |
