PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a motor control circuit which can decide the cause of the operation interuption of a motor. SOLUTION: A motor control circuit has a circuit breaker 18, a rotation sensor 12 which detects the rotation of a motor 10 and outputs signals, and a controller 17 which counts the number of rotation by means of the output signals of the rotation sensor 12. The controller 17 decides that the circuit breaker 18 is operating, when there is no detection output of the rotation sensor 12 in a prescribed time period, while the forward rotation switch 15 of the motor 10 is turned on, and decides that a mechanical locking is being produced if there is a detection output of the rotation sensor 12. With this constitution, it can be decided whether the non-operation of the motor lies in the operation of the circuit breaker or in the mechanical locking and an operator and a maintenance supervisor can be informed of the cause of the non-operation.
