PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a disk player capable of performing the reproducing from a reproducing-interruption position easily. SOLUTION: A system controller 60 stores reproducing state specifying data needed for specifying the interruption position of a reproducing operation in a RAM 62. When the instruction of the reproducing starting pisition by an FP-PGC is preset as to a DVD 10 becoming the object of the reproducing, the controller 60 starts the reproducing operation from that position and resumes the reproducing operation from the reproducing-interruption position by properly skipping reproducing positions in accordance with permission states of a title search, a chapter search and a time search.
