PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily and rapidly carry out connection and separation of the side of a feeder house from the side of a reaping device part in the connection and separation thereof by operating one hook for fixing without using other parts, tools, etc. SOLUTION: This apparatus for connecting the side of a feeder house (a) to the side of a reaping device part b in a general-purpose type combine harvester is composed by engaging and supporting an engaging edge in the upper part of an opening of the feeder house (a) with a connecting frame above a connecting port constituting a platform on the side of the reaping device part b and nipping each guide roller 47 provided in a lower reinforcing frame 34 on both sides under the connecting port with a fixed guide plate 21 installed in the feeder house (a) and a rotating guide plate 24 rotating by actions of a hook 28 for fixing in the apparatus for connecting the side of the feeder house (a) to the side of the reaping device b in the general-purpose type combine harvester.
