PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating fluid free from coarse grains due to a thickening agent to be added into a coating fluid for forming a protective layer at the time of heat-developable coating and to provide the heat-developable image recording material free from any pinhole by using it. SOLUTION: This heat-developable recording material has at least one image forming layer and at least one protective layer on at least one side of a support and it is subjected to heat-development processing at a developing temperature of 80 deg.C-140 deg.C and at least one of the protective layers is manufactured by applying an aqueous coating fluid prepared from a latex filtered through a filter with a pore diameter of 1-10μm and the thickening agent filtered through a filter with a pore diameter of 1-10μm, and drying the coated film.
