RATE MATCHING AND CHANNEL INTERLEAVING FOR COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To match a data bit rate in a matrix for interleaved data bits with a desired rate by a simple method in a rate matching method for a communication system. SOLUTION: The method includes a step where a bit pattern to be deleted or repeated to provide a desired data rate is obtained by a matrix of data bits not interleaved, a step where addresses of respective bits of the pattern are decoded by a method opposite to that for the interleaving processing to generate respective addresses of bits in the matrix of interleaved data bits, and a step where respective data bits that are interleaved are deleted or repeated according to the respective addresses.
