PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat stability of the bits which are written, to reduce medium noise, and, therethrough, to enable highly reliable recording of high density by providing at least an exchange layer structure and a magnetic layer disposed thereon and composing the exchange layer structure of a ferromagnetic layer and a non-magnetic binding layer which is disposed upon the ferromagnetic layer and under the magnetic layer. SOLUTION: The ferromagnetic layer 7 and the non-magnetic binding layer 8 constitute the exchange layer structure. Thereupon, the magnetic layer 9 is laminated. In addition, a non-magnetic substrate 1, a first seed layer 2, an NiP layer 3, a second seed layer 4, a substrate layer 5, a non-magnetic intermediate layer 6, a protective layer 10 and a lubricating layer 11 are laminated in the order of sign. The ferromagnetic layer 7 is composed of Co, Ni, Fe, Co-alloy, Ni-alloy and Fe-alloy, etc., the non-magnetic layer 8 is composed of Ru, Rh, Ir, Ru-alloy, Rh-alloy and Ir-alloy, etc., and the magnetic layer 9 is composed of Co or Co-alloy, etc., which includes CoCrTa, CoCrPt, CoCrPt-M.
