PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a charging voltage of a main capacitor in a charging voltage detection circuit of a stroboscopic device by a small scale circuit structure. SOLUTION: A full charging voltage detection circuit 5 comprises a Zener diode D3 for detecting a charge completion voltage which is the lowest voltage to secure an emission amount permitting flash photographing, and a Zener diode D5 for detecting voltage lower than the charge completion voltage, and a microcomputer 1 recognizes, at an input terminal SCC, the charge completion voltage detected by the Zener diode D3 and a full charge voltage which is the total voltage of the charge completion voltage detected by the Zener diode D3 and the lower voltage detected by the Zener diode D5, and is also the maximum chargeable voltage of the main capacitor MC.
