PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projecting device equipped with an automatic lamp exchanging means made small in size and light in weight for a video projecting device used as the portable one or the one mounted on a passenger plane. SOLUTION: A 1st lamp 60 equipped with a 1st coated reflection mirror 500 is disposed on a turnable supporting means 70 having a rotary shaft 76 at the angle of 45 degrees to the optical axis of the lamp 60. In the supporting means 70, a 2nd lamp 65 equipped with a 2nd coated reflection mirror 550 is disposed at the angle of 45 degrees to the shaft 76. When the supporting means 70 is turned and the lamp 65 is disposed in a reflection mirror 50 instead of the lamp 60, the mirror 550 of the lamp 65 is fit in the notched part of the mirror 50. When the supporting means 70 for the lamp is turned, the mirror 50 can move toward a projection mechanism so as to avoid the interference of the lamps 60 and 65 with the mirror 50 when the lamps 60 and 65 get in and out of the mirror 50.
