CARD CARRIER PATH SWITCHING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a switching defect by locating the pinch roller of a second card carrier path while deviating it with respect to a driving roller in the carrier direction of card inside the second card carrier path. SOLUTION: The front end and lower end of a card processing passage 12 are opened and a card inserting and returning port and a card collecting port 14 are respectively arranged. A card collecting passage 15 as second card carrier path is formed above and under the card collecting port 14 so as to sandwich this card collecting port 14. Namely, the card collecting passage 15 is formed from a driven conveyer belt 45, a pinch roller 88 for conveyance switching facing this belt and a pinch roller 26. Then, the card collecting passage 15 is located while being deviated with respect to the card processing passage 12 in the thickness direction of a card 5 just for the protruding quantity of a lower guide projection 10.
