PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water drip which also functions as a starter portion which enhances the waterproofness and venting performance of a wall surface. SOLUTION: The water drop 1 is comprised of a starter portion which is obtained by vertically extending fixed portion 2 of the water drop 1 in parallel with a wall member 11, bending a projective end from a midpoint of the vertically extending fixed portion 2 to form an engaging portion which engages with the wall member 11, and a water drop portion 5 protruding from a lower edge of the fixed portion 2 at a blunt angle to form a gradient. An end which bifurcates from a point near the lower edge of the fixed portion 2 and almost vertically extends therefrom, is bent at a blunt angle, to thereby form a slope portion 4. Further, a plurality of venting holes are formed in the slope portion 4 with a predetermined pitch in a manner penetrating therethrough so that air flows therethrough. Each venting hole is formed like a slit so as to prevent invasion of noxious insects. Further, when the venting hole is formed by pressworking or the like, the presswork can be performed without interference of a surface vertical portion 5b of the water drop portion 5, and the workability is rendered efficient, to thereby reduce costs. Further, the life of a press die can be drastically extended. |
