SUBSTANCE: heat-insulating material comprises binder, filler, nitrogen-containing agent, oxidizer, nonionic type surfactant and water ratios of components being as follows, w.t%: binder, 22.0-48.0; filler, 1.0-23; oxidizer, 0.2-1.6; nitrogen-containing agent, 0.02-0.8; nonionic type surfactant, 0.01-0.2; aluminium tetra-oxychloride, 0.1-1.0, and water, the balance. Low density heat-insulating material based on binders is prepared by chemical regeneration, and plastic strength is attained during shorter period of time by adding water- retaining additive.
