An automatic disk changing device, comprising a pallet (19) capable of mounting a disk (D), a storage chamber (12) for storing the pallet (19), a recording and reproducing drive which stores the pallet (19) and records and reproduces information to/from the disk (D), and a transfer mechanism for transferring the pallet (19) between the storage chamber (12) and the recording and reproducing drive; magnetic bodies (20a) being mounted near claw parts (19c to 19f) of the pallet (19); respectively, the storage chamber (12) comprising an opening (12a) for passing the pallet (19), side walls (12d, 12e) having grooves (12b, 12c) for moving side edges of the pallet (19) forward and backward, respectively, and a bottom wall (12f) for supporting one end of the pallet (19); and the bottom wall (12f) being provided with magnets (20b) for attracting the magnetic bodies (20a) of the pallet (19).
