PURPOSE: A linear rolling bearing for transmission of torque is provided to easily and inexpensively manufacture a means to prestress molding elements with each other with no play. CONSTITUTION: The bearing is a linear rolling bearing to transmit torque with its vertical axis as its center. It is furnished with an inside molding element(2) and an outside molding element(3). A wall section(3a) on the outside of the inside molding element(2) and a wall section(3a) of the outside molding element(3) are borne on each other by rolling elements(5). A rolling element circulating passage(4) is formed in a holder(6). At least one of the molding elements(2,3) has at least one pre-stress means to work on the rolling elements(5) to be loaded.
