PURPOSE: To prevent a deterioration of a performance due to adherence of a raw material. CONSTITUTION: The air flow dryer comprises a vertical cylindrical housing 5, a comminutor 3 arranged in a lower portion in the housing 5 to comminute a raw material to particles by blades 31 radially formed upward from a rotating disc 32, a raw material supply unit 9 for supplying the material by dropping the same to the comminutor 3, a hot air supply unit 1 for supplying a hot air from below the blades 13 to the particles, and an exhaust duct 7 for discharging the particles rising in the housing 5 by the hot air from an upper portion of the housing 5.
