PURPOSE: A self-diagnosis device of vehicle and a diagnosis method using the same are provided to perform a self-diagnosis operation for an ECU(Electronic Control Unit) by performing a drive operation according to a drive pattern CONSTITUTION: A vehicle state detection portion(2) detects a state of a vehicle. An ECU(1) performs a diagnosing operation of a diagnosis device according to a predetermined drive pattern and the detected vehicle state. A diagnosis information processing portion(5) is connected with the ECU(1) in order to receives information and perform a display operation. The diagnosis information processing portion(5) displays a realized condition when a diagnosis execution condition is realized according to a corresponding drive pattern.
