PURPOSE: Disclosed is a communication device capable of accurately detecting the transmission delay of each mobile station without exerting influence upon transmission capacity and the number of stored channels. CONSTITUTION: A receiving part(602) receives a signal obtained by multiplexing the signals of respective channels in the same frequency band through an antenna(601) A separation part(603) separates a part to be used for the calculation of a correlation value in the received signal. Correlation parts(604,605) calculate the correlation values of the separated signal by respectively using 1st and 2nd basic codes to prepare respective delay profiles. When there is no propagation delay, a comparing/line estimation part(606) circulates individual delay profiles so that sections in which paths of channels to be detected appear coincide with each other and detects paths approximately coinciding with each other in respective circulated delay profiles.
