The invention concerns a supply unit for conveying fuel from a tank (10). Said supply unit comprises a filter pot (13) including a central chamber (14) enclosed in a ring-shaped chamber (15), said ring-shaped chamber being closed by a filter cover (30) comprising a fuel inlet passage (36) leading to said ring-shaped chamber (15) and a discharge passage (37) leading therefrom. A supply pump (22) is inserted into the central chamber (14) and penetrates, with a suction pipe (26), passing through an opening (20), into a suction chamber (19). In order to simplify the assembling of this unit and reduce the production costs thereof, the central chamber (14) internal diameter is larger than the pump body (23) external diameter, a delivery pipe (27) projecting axially is formed on the other body (23) surface opposite the suction pipe (26), and a clip-on cap (38), urged to be placed on the delivery pipe (27), is formed on the filter cover (30). Between the delivery pipe (27) and the clip-on cap (38), and the suction pipe (26) and the pot bottom (131) opening (20), is inserted in each case an elastic sleeve (39, 28) acting as joint, housing and silencer for the supply pump (22) in the filter pot (13).
