<p>PURPOSE: To delay response characteristic as well as temperature-pressure characteristic and stabilize control by disposing an adsorption material in a sensitive member of a thermal expansion valve, which has pore sizes suitable for the molecular sizes of a working fluid. CONSTITUTION: An adsorption material 40' is disposed inside a hollow pipe-like member which constitutes a temperature sensing/pressure transferring member 100 which serves as a valve drive member. The adsorption material 40' is active carbon of phenol wherein a grade 10, grade 15, grade 20 and grade 25, respectively, have pore sizes 9 angstrom, 12 angstrom, 16 angstrom and 20 angstrom. The differences between the individual active carbons are balanced by the individual pore sizes, respectively, so as to be rendered substantially even. Specifically, the active carbon having many pore sizes suitable for the molecular sizes of the temperature coping working fluid, is used for adsorbing the working fluid.</p> |
