PURPOSE: A message reservation and send system and method is provided to register voice and character type messages with a send date, a destination phone number or address on congratulations and condolences on a home page of an internet service provider, and inform the registered receiver of the registered messages over the internet. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a user accessing a web site of a service provider(60), the user inputting an ID(61), the user selecting the number of the service message destination(62), inputting the contents of the message or modifying the existing message(63), inputting a phone number, a name or fax number of the message destination(64), inputting a reservation date and time(65), the service provider transmitting the reservation data to an auto send system, and the auto send system converting the character data into voice data or image data(66), the auto send system calling the registered destination terminal over the internet(67), and transmitting the message to the terminal(68).
