PURPOSE: Provided is a power tool for fastening and unfastening a screw type connector easily convertible into a fluid pressure-driven type or a manually- driven type as occasion demands. CONSTITUTION: This power tool is to perform fastening and unfastening of a screw type connector. A link(1) consisting of a link housing and a ratchet unit(10) to rotate an engaging element(11), a drive housing and a fluid drive unit, the drive housing and non-fluid pressure drive unit, and a ratchet mechanism are connected to either the drive element of a fluid pressure drive unit or the drive element of a fluid pressure drive unit or alternately thereof. During operation of either the drive element of the fluid pressure drive unit or the drive element of the non-fluid drive unit, the ratchet mechanism(10) of the link is rotated. This constitution performs fastening or unfastening by rotating the screw type connector engaged with the engaging means(11) of the link.
