<p>The rotation coder has a two-part housing (4,11) fitted to the electric motor (1) via a mounting flange, with an opening for a motor shaft (2) projecting into the housing and fitted with an index disc (10), which is scanned by an optical sensor. The housing base plate (4) has a number of annular bayonet segments (5) locating in corresponding openings (12) of the housing cover, with guide surfaces (5b) adjacent the edges of the base plate cooperating with guide surfaces of the cover during interfitting of the housing parts by relative rotation.</p> |
