<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image having high image quality with a magnetic two- component developer. SOLUTION: The developer contains 15-28 wt.% magnetic material and has a toner having 4-8μm volume average particle diameter (M) and containing 40-80% by number of toner particles each having <=5μm particle diameter. When the toner having the volume average particle diameter (M) is within the range of 2< (the volume average particle diameter of the toner) <M+2 (μm), the numerical expression is satisfied. A carbon allotrope or a metal oxide has been added as fine particles of an electrostatic charge relaxing agent having <=0.5μm number average particle diameter to the inside or outside of the magnetic toner particles.</p> |
